The intakes are generally in February, March, May, June, October and November (it also depends on the course).
Refer to the handbook available at the library, the college's website or get the brochures from the Marketing Department. In addition, students are encouraged to attend the orientation briefing.
It takes about 1 week for the application to be processed.
You are strongly advised to submit your application 2 weeks prior to the college intake date.

Yes, all the programmes offered are approved by Ministry of Higher Education.

Programmes are required to achieve provisional accreditation at the point of commencement and receive accreditation at the end of the first full cycle by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency. At Newton, all programmes with full cycle are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and are listed in the Malaysian Qualifications Register (MQR).

If you are an applicant who are under the age of 18 when you registering with the College, it is essential that your parents or legal guardian complete an Under 18 Consent Form in an application form.

A ‘PASS’ in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) is the minimum entry requirement for Malaysians enrolling into all Diploma Programmes.

From 2013 onwards, applicants need to have at least a ‘PASS’ in both Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah.

For Malaysian applicants who do not have Credit in Bahasa Malaysia for SPM, they need to take and pass the compulsory module; ‘Bahasa kebangsaan A’.
